PrimeGate Immigration provide 2 sets of related services; International Recruitment and Immigration Representation for Canadian employers and Immigration Representation for individual foreign nationals and their families.  

We at PrimeGate Immigration understand the complexity of recruiting international workers and immigrating to a new country and would be happy to represent you and guide you through the entire process. We will knowledgeably and professionally represent an employer with an Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) application to Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) or we can assist with an relevant LMIA- exempt work permit options.  

For individuals, we will work with you to understand your best options for immigrating to Canada through an initial consultation.  Once your best path is determined we will represent you with your application to Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

THE TEAM

Marty Tensen

Director and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (R242890)

Marty Baram is the Director of PrimeGate Immigration and Recruitment. In addition to his role as the Director, Marty is a member of the Transitional Board of Directors at the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

Marty is an Adjunct Professor at Queen’s University Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law and was an Instructor of Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures at the University of British Columbia (UBC).

Marty is very well versed with the Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) application process and is regarded as an expert in the field.

His other areas of expertise are: International Recruitment, Francophone Mobility Program, Permanent Residence applications- specifically Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs. Marty received his Immigration Consulting Diploma from Humber College where he graduated with honors. 

Yamini Gostavo

Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (R514263)

She had a career in International Development that allowed her to travel and work on a number of exciting projects in different countries all around the world. She realized there was a need for honest, trustworthy immigration advice and decided to become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. 

Her areas of expertise are: Francophone Mobility, LMIAs, Permanent Residence applications- specifically Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, Family Class Sponsorship, Humanitarian and Compassionate Cases. She is also skilled at helping clients maintain valid temporary status in order to remain in Canada while on the path to becoming a Permanent Resident.

Zino Chong (Mayckel)

Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (R625253)

Mayckel is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and a member of CAPIC (Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants). Ben joined the PrimeGate Immigration Team in 2020. He has experience relating to temporary and permanent residence applications to Canada. He uses his personal experiences and passion throughout his Canadian immigration journey to help his clients. He strongly believes that his client’s success are his success.

Ben has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Mass Communication from Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool, United Kingdom. He also graduated from Ashton College in Immigration Consultant Diploma with honors. He is able to communicate fluently in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Malay.
